A Blue Star Mother is a mother, or woman in a mother's role, who has a child serving in the armed forces or who is a veteran.  Western Slope Blue Star Mothers formed in 2017 and is a chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America, a national organization that was chartered by Congress in 1962 and currently has over 6000 members in 200 chapters across the country. We are a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian organization. We do not support any political candidate or endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization.
